KEE was originally formed as a family run business called KEANE PLASTICS in 1955. As the business grew the company name was changed to KLARGESTER. We pioneered the development of many industry ‘firsts’ including the Glassfibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) Septic Tank in 1965, the first commercially-available packaged RBC Sewage Treatment Plant in 1972 and the ‘Managed Flow’ concept in 1993.
In December 1999, the Klargester brand was sold and the business was re-named KEE. In January 2000, we moved into our new offices and factory in Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Although the industry has changed significantly since the 1950s, KEE’s ‘family’ company culture continues to focus on ethical business values and an integrity and commitment to delivering high quality products and services to our customers.
Today, the KEE brand is recognised across the globe as a leading provider of bespoke and packaged wastewater solutions.
KEE’s specialist knowledge and expertise is derived from over 350,000 installations worldwide and 60 years’ experience in the development, design, manufacture, servicing, maintenance and operation of wastewater treatment systems and equipment. Many of our customers today have been working with KEE for over 30 years which is a testament to the trust, loyalty and value our customers have in us as a supplier.
KEE Group comprises of two principle operating companies, namely KEE Process Limited and KEE Services Limited. Both these companies are based at our offices in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and work together to deliver ‘end to end’ product and service solutions for our customers.

High Standards
KEE maintain the highest standards of practice. We are Altius, Achilles and CHAS approved, a member of British Water and BSI OHSAS 18001, BSI PAS 99, BSI ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality Management accredited in the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and operation of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems. Our Service Technicians are DBS checked and British Water accredited.
Protecting the environment
KEE believes in creating the very best products to protect the environment. Our KEE designers undertake on-going research and development to continue delivering process and cost efficiencies using the very latest advancements in design technology. For example, this year we launched a new Tertiary Filter for the KEE NuDisc-R® range which offers superior wastewater quality discharge.
